Wrong Turn is a 2003 horror/thriller about a group of young people whose road trip turns into a nightmare. While trying to beat traffic on their way to a job interview, Chris Finn and a group of friends take a shortcut through the remote backcountry of West Virginia. After a collision with another vehicle on an isolated forest road, the group sets off to find help — but instead they stumble upon a terrifying secret.
Deep in the wilderness, they encounter a family of cannibalistic, genetically mutated killers who hunt lost travelers for sport. The forest quickly becomes a battleground as the friends fight for survival against the brutal traps and relentless pursuit of their attackers. With danger around every corner and no chance of help from the outside world, the group must use all their wits and courage just to stay alive.
Blending elements of slasher horror and backwoods terror, Wrong Turn delivers a tense and violent story of survival against unimaginable evil hidden deep in the woods.
